WARRANTY
& CRASH REPLACEMENT
SCIU OVERSIZE WARRANTY
Every SCIU bike comes with our oversize warranty if you register your bike with SCIU online here within 8 weeks of purchase. That means 6 years warranty on the frame. Full warranty coverage not only for all first time owners, but also for all subsequent owners. We are the only bike brand that doesn't hide behind complicated warranty terms and get-out clauses. If you build good, you can give good. All frames are subject to rigorous testing and ISO standards. Only the best of carbon is used and manufacturing is at the highest technical level.

CRASH REPLACEMENT
Shit happens! Crashes and other crazy things can happen and suddenly your SCIU is defective. So in case you damage your SCIU frame, we offer you a crash replacement for a period of 6 years.
Our crash replacement is an additional support and service, should life hit you a little harder than usual. We will assess whether you are eligible for the crash replacement program. Damage caused intentionally is excluded from our program.

RETURN POLICY
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.
Products must be returned unused, undamaged, in perfect condition and with all labels in the original packaging.
In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (SCIU GmbH & Co KG, Auguste-Baur-Str. 14, 22587 Hamburg, info@sciu-bikes.com, 040/23 83 11 79 - 0) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached sample withdrawal form, which is not mandatory.
To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of cancellation
If you revoke this contract, we shall repay to you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your revocation of this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged for this repayment.
We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You must pay for any loss in value of the goods only if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functioning of the goods.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
